Well it’s only been a week since the Communications release went live and I want to thank you all for all your feedback. It gives the whole product team a boost when we hear of your experiences. (Yes the good and the bad in truth). This last release was different from most of our previous ‘new feature’ deployments as it had immediate impact on your existing daily activities.
Our messaging and WhatsApp changes have had a huge impact on how you communicate mobile messages. In fact so much of an impact I can’t believe that we didn’t consider making these mobile experience changes before. Sometimes you just miss what is staring you in the face. Well that’s what it feels like to us at the moment.
Why did we deploy changes again so soon after the last release?
Mobile Messaging Improvements
We’ve made a number of changes based on your feedback. These include:
Inbound number forwarding
Navigate to your phone number settings you will see an improved feature set for how you manage inbound calls. These include
If you want to make use of inbound / outbound calling via a VOIP mobile or desktop app. Please get in touch with your account manager and we will be able to provide your whole team with VOIP accounts allowing you to make and receive calls from your Konnexsion number.
Landlord Statement
Tenancy Scheduler
We of course love new users. And with new users we identify new business needs and ultimately opportunities to improve the product further. In this case we have built a new tenancy billing schedule:
Daily in arrears: A totally different billing schedule from our others in that we don’t:
This schedule is more aligned to short term rentals / bookings and will charge on a specified date each month the exact number of days in the period.
This was a great result in quite a short amount of time. We can’t always / and shouldn’t always make changes for every business issue that is highlighted. What I can say however is we will always evaluate the problem and:
we will look to schedule an enhancement into our pipeline.
Well that’s it for now. Please do continue to let us know how you are getting on with Konnexsion.
