1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU

Konnexsion is a provider of software that is designed to support the management of rental properties. It gives the subscriber and their invited and connected parties access to information related to their properties, tenancy agreements and other material relating to the rented property. In connection with accessing our Services, we will collect and process the following data about you

Personal Information is information about an identifiable individual. It may include information such as the individual’s name, email address, telephone number and bank account details.

Information You Give Us.

This is information about you that you give us by filling in forms on our site https://konnexsion.com (our site) and using our services within the Konnexsion Property Manager application (our application), by uploading documents or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes Personal information you provide, that can be used to identify you, when you register to use our site or our application, subscribe to our service, use our application, participate in discussion boards or other social media functions on our site or application, enter a competition, promotion or survey, register for our newsletter and when you report a problem with our site, application or services. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, accounting & financial, personal description, photograph and other identification details.

Information We Collect About You.

With regard to each of your visits to our site and application we will automatically collect the following information:

  • Any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

      • business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you;
      • advertisers and advertising networks that require the data to select and serve relevant adverts to you and others. We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to our advertisers, but we will provide them with aggregate information about our users (for example, we may inform them that 500 men aged under 30 have clicked on their advertisement on any given day). We may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target (for example, women in SW1). We may make use of the personal data we have collected from you to enable us to comply with our advertisers’ wishes by displaying their advertisement to that target audience;
      • analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our site;
      • credit reference agencies for the purpose of assessing your credit score where this is a condition of us entering into a contract with you.

We will disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we will disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
  • If Konnexsion Property Ltd or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.

4. CONNECTING YOUR KONNEXSION PROPERTY MANAGER ACCOUNT WITH OTHER THIRD PARTY SERVICES

We work with other companies and developers to offer you products and services and you may choose to link, connect, or synchronise your Konnexsion Property Manager account with. Sometimes Konnexsion may let you know about the service or product. It will be clear who is both referring and providing the service or product. If you choose to accept these services, providing your consent to either the third party or to us, we may exchange your information, including your Personal Information, as well as information about how you interact with each company’s service or product. This exchange of information is necessary to maintain business operations and to provide the ongoing service you’ve requested.

By requesting or accepting these products or services, you are permitting us to provide your information, including your Personal Information, to the other party.

By using the Service, you consent to your personal information being collected, held and used in this way and for any other use you authorise. Konnexsion will only ever use your personal information for the purposes described in this Policy or with Your express permission.


5. KONNEXSION MAY RECEIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM YOU ABOUT OTHERS

Whilst using our Services and Applications, we may also collect information from you about someone else. If you provide us with personal information about someone else, you must ensure that you are authorised to disclose that information to us and that, without us taking any further steps required by applicable data protection or privacy laws, Konnexsion may collect, use and disclose such information for the purposes described in this Policy.

This means that you must take reasonable steps to ensure the individual concerned is aware of and/or consents to the various matters detailed in this Policy, including the fact that their personal information is being collected, the purposes for which that information is being collected, the intended recipients of that information, the individual’s right to obtain access to that information, and how to contact Konnexsion.

Where requested to do so by us, you must also assist us with any requests by the individual to access or update the personal information you have collected from them and entered into the Service.


6. WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination within and outside the EU. It will also be processed by staff who work for us or for one of our suppliers. This includes staff engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site or application, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. The server host’s role is limited to providing a hosting, processing and storage service to Konnexsion, and we’ve taken steps to ensure that our server hosts do not have access to, and use the necessary level of protection for, your personal information beyond what is required to fulfil their contractual obligations.

If you do not want your personal information to be transferred to a server located within the EU, you should not provide us with your personal information or use our Service.


7. WHAT YOU CAN DO TO MANAGE YOUR PRIVACY

Managing Marketing Communications From Us:

  • We will honour your choices when it comes to receiving marketing communications from us.
  • You have the following choices if you have been receiving marketing communications from us that you no longer wish to receive:
  • Click the “unsubscribe” link in the email or newsletter you received.
  • Subject to your control, our mobile application may send push notifications to your mobile device. If you are receiving push notifications and no longer wish to receive these types of communications, you may turn them off at the device level.
  • Remember that even if you choose not to receive marketing communications from us, we will continue to send you mandatory service or transactional communications.

10. KONNEXSION AS A DATA PROCESSOR

We may collect, use and disclose certain Personal Data about Customers when acting as the User’s service provider. Our Users are responsible for making sure that the Customer’s privacy rights are respected, including ensuring appropriate disclosures about third party data collection and use. To the extent that we are acting as a User’s data processor, we will process Personal Data in accordance with the terms of our agreement with the User and the User’s lawful instructions.


11. DATA RETENTION

In accordance with and as permitted by applicable law and regulations, we will retain your information as long as necessary to serve you, to maintain your account for as long as your account is active, or as otherwise needed to operate our business. When you close your account, we may continue to communicate with you about our Services, give you important business updates that may affect you, and let you know about products and services that may interest you, unless you have opted out of receiving marketing communications. We may also continue to use some of your information for business purposes and to improve our offerings or in some cases to develop new ones. We will retain and use your information as required by applicable regulations and Konnexsion’s records and information management policies to comply with our legal and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, complete any outstanding transactions and for the detection and prevention of fraud.
